Banner honoring First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy during her visit to Jaipur, India. The message on the banner reads: "Long live Mrs. Keneddy (sic), Wine Merchants Association, Jaipur." The following is handwritten on the verso of the photograph (possibly by staff at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum): "F496, 18 Mar 1962, Jaipur." United States Ambassador to India John Kenneth Galbraith sent the photograph to President John F. Kennedy with a memorandum dated March 22, 1962. This photograph is currently held in The President's Collection and is numbered PC2251. It is not known if this is the photograph that was originally held in the President's Office Files collection or if it is a duplicate.
