This camp log, kept by Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr., documents his time spent at Camp Wyanoke in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, during the summer of 1925. The gold stamped title on the cover reads, “My Camp Log.” The pages in the first section of the log are pre-printed with topical page titles, such as “Camp Friends,” “What I Have Done in and on the Water this Summer,” and “Flowers and Plants I Have Recognized.” Later pages in the “Daily Log” section are pre-printed with calendar dates, starting with June 29 and ending with September 2. Handwritten entries in pencil describe sporting events, nature activities, and other aspects of daily life at summer camp. Photographs capture views of the Camp Wyanoke grounds, including Joseph, Jr.'s cabin, "Glenoke," as well as scenic vistas of mountains and lakes, including Mirror Lake and Lake Winnipesaukee. Also seen in the photographs are several of his campmates and counselors, identified in original handwritten captions: "Mr. Risser," "Monkey," "Olson," "Treadway," "Floorman," "Pinkee," "Grant," and "Evans." Original handwritten captions are written in black ink on the leaves beneath most photographs. This camp log contains handwritten journal entries, as well as 13 photographic prints; the last ten pages of the diary are blank.
