Walker of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and Major Robert M. White for their outstanding accomplishments in flying the X-15. President Kennedy shakes hands of attendees, delivers a presentation speech, and receives a model of the X-15 from Major White. Among the attendees shown are General Curtis E. LeMay, General Lyman Lemnitzer, Major General Arno H. Luehman, and Under Secretary of the Air Force Dr. Joseph V. Charyk.
