This folder contains copies of the Congressional Record and a speech titled, “New Frontiers for Our Older Citizens,” given by Senator John F. Kennedy in Hyde Park, New York at a memorial program for the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Social Security Act. In his speech Senator Kennedy discusses the importance of the Social Security program for aged citizens and proposes an expansion of the program to include additional benefits, a housing program, and a national health care program.
