Nun identified as Sister Dulce [Lojos Fortes] standing with a group of young children. Four of the children are holding posters of President John F. Kennedy identifying him in Portuguese as the "Presidente dos Estados Unidos de America." The inscription on the verso of the photograph reads: "For President Kennedy, the good friend of the Brazilian People, from your admirer and [compaignor] Sister Dulce [Lojos Fortes], Washington, 10/29/1962." A stamp on the verso of the photograph reads: "Dilson Meyer, Fotografico, Av. Fernandes da Cunha, 78-Mares, Archivo No. 226, Foto No. 35."
