The photograph was sent to President John F. Kennedy with a letter dated March 28, 1961 from Howard Van Zandt, President of the Association. Banquet guests include Dr. Gunji Hosono, Haruko Hosono, Howard F. Van Zandt, Captain E.W. Knepper, Mrs. Nishizaki, and Dr. T. Nishizaki.
