Kennedy at his home in Washington, D.C. announcing the appointments of Governor Orville Freeman as Secretary of Agriculture and Congressman George McGovern as Director of the Food for Peace Program. Following President-elect Kennedy’s announcements are statements by Secretary-designate Freeman and Congressman McGovern and questions from the press regarding additional Cabinet appointments.
