This folder contains material pertaining to meetings and planning for the so-called second-stage economic program, an additional round of policies following from President Kennedy's economic message of February 2, 1961. It includes a memorandum by the Council of Economic Advisers (CEA) titled "Economic Situation and Outlook at the End of April 1961," and an outline of proposals for the second-stage economic program drafted by Kermit Gordon (CEA), Robert C. Turner (Bureau of the Budget) and Lee White (White House). There is also some material about economic myths versus facts from June 1962, which is likely misfiled.
