Senators John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson with the Louisiana Congressional Delegation in the Senate Chambers, Washington, D.C., during the 1960 Presidential Campaign. The photograph was sent to President Kennedy with a letter dated January 13, 1961, from Frank B. Ellis, and was taken on the day Mr. Ellis agreed to direct Senator Kennedy's campaign in Louisiana. Standing left to right are Congressman Hale Boggs, Senator Allen J. Ellender, Senator George A. Smathers, Senator John F. Kennedy, Frank B. Ellis, Senator Lyndon B. Johnson, Senator Russell B.
