Of note are replies by President of France Charles de Gaulle to messages by Soviet Prime Minister Nikita Khrushchev. Also included in this folder is a transcript of an interview given by French Foreign Minister Maurice Couve de Murville to CBS Television Network. This folder contains some foreign language material.

Also included in this folder is a letter of recall for Indian Ambassador to the United States Mahomed Ali Currim Chagla and a letter of credence for new Ambassador Braj Kumar Nehru, both dated August 14, 1961.
