Of note is a letter from Ambassador Galbraith to President Kennedy upon the conclusion of his duties as ambassador.

Topics include a Kashmir settlement and negotiations between India and Pakistan, United States Ambassador to India John Kenneth Galbraith’s role in the negotiations, and U.S. military aid to India. Of note are draft letters from President Kennedy to Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru and President of Pakistan Ayub Khan.
