In his speech Senator Kennedy discusses the need for strong leadership and more politicians, and how the political profession has changed over time. Of note is a draft containing handwritten notations by the Senator. Also included in this folder is a speech by Senator Kennedy given at Morris Harvey College in Charleston, West Virginia, titled, "The Crisis in American Education," concerning adequate training for educators and funding for schools.
