The photograph was sent with a letter from David O. Belew, Jr., to John E. Byrne, Executive of the United States General Services Administration (GSA), on January 13, 1964.

Those pictured also include: Executive of the United States General Services Administration (GSA), John E. Byrne; David O. Belew, Jr. and his wife, Marjorie Belew. The hotel marquee reads, "Welcome Mr. President." The photograph was sent with a letter by Mr. Belew to Mr. Byrne on January 13, 1964.
