Topics include survey results of public opinion in Italy, reactions to speeches made by the President, and an issue of work space at the USIA headquarters. Also included in this folder is a memorandum to Special Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs McGeorge Bundy from USIA Director Edward R. Murrow regarding a CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) plan to use balloons to drop leaflets into Havana, Cuba during May Day celebrations.
