Upon arriving at Patrick Air Force Base aboard Military Air Transport Service (MATS) airplane, astronaut Lieutenant Colonel John H. Glenn, Jr. (center, left) reunites with his family for the first time since his orbital flight. Lieutenant Colonel Glenn, escorted by Vice President Lyndon B.
