Folder Description
This folder contains material pertaining to the Consumer Advisory Council (CAC), which was formally established by the Council of Economic Advisers in July 1962 in order to ensure that the government considered the needs of consumers. Items here relate to the publication of the CAC's first report in October 1963. Types of material include correspondence, memoranda, press releases, drafts of the report, feedback from other government agencies, and a copy of the final published report.
