Materials in this folder include letters and memoranda regarding a meeting between the President and officers and trustees of the American Heritage Foundation, and from the Department of Defense explaining their position on commercially produced films about communism. Also included in this folder is the proposed text and a proof for a booklet titled “Challenge to Americans,” as part of the American Heritage Foundation’s and the Advertising Council of America’s collaboration to develop a public education program informing the public of major challenges and issues facing Americans.
