Folder Description
Materials in this folder include telegrams, memoranda, and correspondence between President John F. Kennedy, various members of the White House staff, and individual citizens concerning a proposed executive order prohibiting discrimination in federally assisted housing (later issued as Executive Order 11063) and President Kennedy’s meeting with members of the National Committee Against Discrimination in Housing. The folder also contains a report by the National Committee Against Discrimination in Housing.
