Folder Description
This folder contains copies of a speech by Senator John F. Kennedy titled, "The Crisis in American Education," concerning insufficient training for educators and a deficiency in funding for schools. Also included are copies of remarks made by Senator Kennedy in Oregon and Wisconsin regarding overcrowded schools, an inadequate number of teachers, and a bill granting money to states for the construction of schools and salary increases for teachers.
