Sound recording of the radio program "Face Off." Senator Edward M. "Ted" Kennedy of Massachusetts and Senator Alan K. "Al" Simpson of Wyoming debate the need for congressional action to prevent the organization of blockades around public health clinics that perform abortions. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that current civil rights laws could not be invoked to obtain injunctions against such blockades. The episode aired on Wednesday, January 27, 1993, on the Mutual Broadcasting System.
