Boston, MA– On behalf of the Board of Directors of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, I congratulate Caroline Kennedy on her nomination by President Obama to serve as the United States Ambassador to Japan.

As president of the Kennedy Library Foundation, Caroline has been the heart and soul behind the institution’s efforts to promote her father’s timeless ideals of citizenship, peace, and innovation to new generations. She is a true patriot with a unique understanding of America’s values and interests. I can think of no one better to represent this country with strength and integrity.
