Presidents’ Day Family Festival

In celebration of Presidents’ Day, the JFK Library hosts its eighth annual Family Festival featuring presidential storytelling, creative activities, musical performances, and Museum tours and hands-on programs to bring the Library to life in new ways for all ages.

10:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Presidents John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison with First Lady Dolley Madison

2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Pop-up Performances by the Harvard Din & Tonics

3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Closing A Capella Performance by the Harvard Din & Tonics

Family-Friendly Tours and Hands-on Carts

11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Learn about President Kennedy and his legacy with interactive programs in the Museum galleries including Race for Space Discovery Cart, Stranded at Sea: JFK and the PT 109 and Jacqueline Kennedy: Hands-on Discovery Cart.

Hands-on “Make and Take” Activities

10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Try out hands-on history crafts including creating a space helmet and making iconic accessories to meet our guest presidents. Participants can celebrate presidential history with a wide-range of creative activities for various age groups.

Special Festival activities are free with paid admission, and children ages 17 and under are admitted free of charge on Festival Day. Additional student, military, senior and EBT discounts available. For all other visitors, visit us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram for a special buzzword that will give you $2 off admission prices. Regular admission fees apply to all other visitors. The Family Festival is especially appropriate for ages 5 and up.
