An unidentified White House worker hangs panels of antique wallpaper in the Diplomatic Reception Room, White House, Washington, D.C. The wallpaper, entitled “Views of North America,” was produced by French manufacturer Zuber & Company in 1834. The wallpaper features various scenes of the North American landscape and was installed as part of First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy’s White House restoration and renovation project.
