This folder contains a press copy of President John F. Kennedy's taped remarks for the 150th anniversary of the founding of Massachusetts General Hospital. In his remarks President Kennedy discusses the importance of physical fitness, the progress of medicine since the hospital’s founding, and the future of medical research, with particular emphasis on intellectual disability (referred to as "mental retardation").
